How to style Lilac Monochrome

Lilac as you may know is a trending color for Spring and Summer this year and the most common way the color is being styled is by wearing just one clothing item in the color palette. A different way of styling the lilac color which is not so common but yet very unique is by monochrome styling; which is wearing different shades and or texture of the same color palette. In the set below, the white sleeveless turtle neck top is a perfect pairing with the lilac culottes (pants) and the long duster coat is added for warmth. The purple Louboutin heels add a deep pop of color to the outfit and the basket bag adds some natural tones/neutrals to the outfit. How to style: Green Coat

Image
St. Patrick's day is around the corner and we are styling this green coat on the blog today to celebrate the Irish holiday. Since green is such an unusual color, we really have to be deliberate in its styling in order to look chic. Other styling options for green are mixing it with white and black, mixing with all black or doing monochrome styling with different shades. In the style board below, we have mixed green with light grey color and chic black boots. The sleek grey sweater midi-dress is long and fitted and paired against the long green fitted coat, it looks stylish. You don't want to wear a dress? Pair the green coat with a grey top and grey fitted jeans or plants and you'll still get the same effect. Happy styling.                                                                  Outfit info.             Coat: Here  Another option Here  / Sweater Dress: Here   / Bag:  Here  / Earrings: Similar Here  / Boots Here
