How to look chic at Work this Summer

This season is all about colors, florals and accessories and below are three style boards to guide us as we put items/pieces together for work. Florals can be bold and worn as a dress or pencil and full skirt but I would exercise caution when it comes to floral pants and shorts because they can quickly cross the line and look like you are on a tropical vacation resort rather than work. Another styling tip is to accessorize with neutrals and to throw in one bold color or statement accessory like the bag pictured in the set below.

Aside from florals, you can also wear the season's prints; stripes, and pair it with a bold color piece like the yellow pants in the second set pictured below. Yellow is a color that is also trending this summer so it can be paired with other trending prints like the gingham and stripes. White can also make it to work this season and do not shy away from pairing it with fun colors like neon, pink and mustard. And as usual, you can swop the high heeled shoes for flats.
